
BIOGRAPHY
Nathan Schneider is organist in Küsnacht-Erlenbach on Lake Zurich as well as choir director and organist in Seelsorgeraum Berg and organist in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Zurich.

Nathan Schneider was born in Rhode Island, USA, in 1999. He received his first music lessons on the piano at the age of seven. In high school, he began taking organ lessons with great enthusiasm from the organist at the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul in Providence Rhode Island. After graduating from high school, he moved to Rome, to the Pontificio Istituto di Musica Sacra, where he studied organ for 3 years with Father Theo Flury and graduated with a Bachelor's degree.
Parallel to his studies, Nathan Schneider was organist and choirmaster at the Oratorio di San Francesco Saverio del Caravita. He also won the Memorial Lois Conboy Competition in 2020 and 2021. In the summer of 2020, Nathan moved to Switzerland, where he completed his master's degree in organ at the ZHdK. Since 2022, he has been organist in Küsnacht-Erlenbach on Lake Zurich, choir director and organist in Seelsorgeraum Berg and organist in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Zurich.
As an international musician, Nathan has performed at various venues such as: Tonhalle Zurich, Grossmünster, St. Patrick's Cathedral NYC, Santa Maria Maggiore Rome, Zurich Opera House, Einsiedeln Monastery Church.
